Growing Jewish Life at UChicago

Only 50% of Jewish undergraduates at UChicago are engaged with Jewish Life. With your help, Chabad will have a larger impact by engaging with more and more Jews.

An expanded synagogue and event space will ensure students and community members feel comfortable and welcome.

With the launch of Jgrads in fall of 2022, the enhanced space is critical for the success of our booming graduate student programming

Well-designed Collaborative workplaces where students can work together

Ilan's Lounge will be a a place for students to hang out, socialize and make friends.

The new space will comfortably seat 100+ students at a sit-down Shabbat dinner

Plenty of seating for classes, discussions and services.

This is an important initiative because the only chance for grad students to connect with other Jewish (outside of their degree program) will be at Chabad
